  Orson Scott Card is one of the more well known authors associated with Utah. He did time at both the U and BYU. The Hatrack River web site has received a great deal of acclaim as an online community.

  Each year the Association for Mormon Letters grants awards to those individuals that make a special contribution to the field of Mormon letters. (headquarted in Provo)

  a gathering place and resource for information related to the life and work of Terry Tempest Williams, author, naturalist, and environmental activist.
• Jack Weyland (www.jackweyland.com)
  Jack Weyland grew up in Montana, and attended graduate school in BYU. He is an acclaimed writer of LDS fiction.
